4.7 Seconds: For the Championship is a 30-minute documentary special that revisits the final moments of the 2016 NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship game between Villanova and North Carolina, played on April 4, 2016. With 4.7 seconds remaining and Villanova trailing, North Carolina's Marcus Paige hit a remarkable double-clutch three-pointer to tie the score and seemingly send the game to overtime. Villanova then inbounded quickly; Ryan Arcidiacono pushed the ball up the court and found Kris Jenkins at the arc, who launched and drained a three-pointer at the buzzer, delivering Villanova their first national championship in over three decades and producing what many consider the greatest finish in March Madness history. The documentary reconstructs the sequence through interviews with key figures including Villanova head coach Jay Wright, North Carolina head coach Roy Williams, and players Kris Jenkins, Marcus Paige, and Ryan Arcidiacono. Commentary and analysis are provided by CBS/TNT on-court personalities Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith, alongside the original broadcast team of Jim Nantz, Bill Raftery, and Grant Hill.
