House of Worship is a 96-minute concert documentary theatrical event uniting 25 iconic Christian music artists — including Michael W. Smith, CeCe Winans, Darlene Zschech, Kari Jobe, Matt Redman, Hillary Scott, Israel Houghton, and others — to perform reimagined duet versions of beloved worship anthems from the past 30 years. The film opens with everyday people sharing prayer requests on social media, grounding the experience in congregational faith before moving into performances. The structure alternates between intimate musical performances staged in a small performance space — giving the film a close, communal feel — and roundtable conversations in which the artists discuss not their careers but their personal testimonies: seasons of doubt and grief, moments of crisis, and how worship music carried them back to faith. Songs performed include 'Shout To The Lord,' 'Mighty To Save,' 'How Great Is Our God,' and 'Here I Am To Worship,' among other cross-generational worship staples. Smith and Darlene Zschech, the film was produced by the co-executive producer of I Can Only Imagine and released nationwide in theaters on August 23, 2026.
