Six weeks after causing a drunk driving accident that left her jaw wired shut, Rayna (Blu Hunt) ventures out for her first night on the town in Los Angeles. She has promised her new boyfriend Mitch (Colin Burgess) that she will not drink, but her restlessness quickly takes over. Accompanied by Mitch and her best friend Noah (Kevin Grossman), who harbors unspoken romantic feelings for her, the group goes party-hopping across the city. They attend a magic show at a bar where they encounter Robert (Nick Corirossi), a creepy amateur magician, and his wife Cleo (Ally Davis), an artist. The couple invites the group back to their home for a more intimate gathering. The evening rapidly devolves into a dark-comedy nightmare: Robert confronts Rayna by presenting a PowerPoint slideshow he assembled of her accident, forcing her to reckon publicly with the guilt she has been suppressing. Meanwhile, both Mitch and Noah separately reveal their romantic feelings for Rayna, creating escalating tension between the two men. Unable to speak freely due to her wired jaw, Rayna acts out through increasingly self-destructive behavior, including defacing Cleo's artwork and making jokes about drinking despite her promise to Mitch. She repeatedly pushes away the friends trying to support her. The film ends on a muted note—Rayna receives a moment of genuine connection and compliments, but remains fundamentally unchanged, her self-destructive patterns intact. The wired jaw functions throughout as a literal and metaphorical device: Rayna cannot communicate, yet her silence paradoxically damages every relationship around her over the course of one chaotic night.
