Seniors

Seniors is a 12-minute short film following Tom, a high school senior embarking on his first college campus tour accompanied by his parents, Nancy and Pete. Before or shortly into the outing, Nancy overhears Pete speaking intimately on the phone with another woman, inadvertently revealing that he is having an affair. The discovery fractures the marriage in real time, forcing Tom to navigate this milestone day — one that should be an exciting step toward his future — while his family quietly unravels around him. The film blends drama with dark, situational humor as the three must maintain composure through the campus visit with a tour guide despite the emotional upheaval. The story is semi-autobiographical for director Adam Curley, who drew from a personally resonant emotional situation. The specific resolution of the campus visit and how Tom and his parents respond beyond the initial discovery is not detailed in available sources, as the film is a recent short with limited coverage.
