Splash City

Splash City follows two brothers, Juju and Slim, growing up on the streets of San Francisco whose lives are pulling in opposite directions. Slim clings to basketball as his potential way out, nurturing athletic ambitions as a means of escape from their environment. Juju, meanwhile, slides deeper into street crime, becoming entangled in a dangerous cycle of smash-and-grab robberies under the thumb of a treacherous crew leader who exploits and manipulates him. As both brothers navigate the pressures of their community and the violent legacy that surrounds them, they are ultimately forced to confront whether they can break free of their circumstances or remain defined by them.
