The Gentleman Thief is a sequel to High Rollers (2025). Mason Goddard, a retired master thief, is pulled back into the criminal world when his impulsive younger brother Shawn devises a plan to steal a $100 million prize from a luxury yacht. Determined to keep Shawn out of prison or an early grave, Mason agrees to orchestrate and oversee the operation. The multi-day heist quickly unravels: what appears to be the ultimate payday is revealed to be an elaborate trap engineered by Salzar, Mason's dangerous old enemy. The operation ends in catastrophe — the yacht is set ablaze and Mason's crew is presumed dead. Mason survives, however, and, enraged by the betrayal, shifts from protector to avenger. With the help of Odessa, his enigmatic ex-lover, he works to infiltrate Salzar's criminal empire from within. Simultaneously, he must stay one step ahead of federal authorities who are closing in. Drawing on every skill, trick, and piece of cunning accumulated over a lifetime as the best thief in the business, Mason engineers a final con intended to bring Salzar down.
