Elijah Peel is a world-famous, stadium-filling rock star who appears to have everything — adulation, success, and a life built on music. Behind the facade, however, he is gripped by addiction, and his substance abuse ultimately triggers a life-threatening heart attack that brings his career and personal life to a sudden halt. Hospitalized and forced into recovery, Elijah finds himself stripped of the identity he built around fame and performance. During this vulnerable period he meets Jessica, a terminally ill nine-year-old girl whose radiant optimism, unwavering faith, and wisdom far beyond her years stand in stark contrast to his own cynicism and emotional isolation. Despite his initial resistance, Jessica's presence begins to dismantle the walls Elijah has constructed around his heart. Their unexpected friendship becomes a catalyst: inspired by Jessica's courage and hope, Elijah starts composing new music rooted in themes of faith and healing rather than the excess that defined his earlier career.
